Weeeelll not exactly. My daughter, Brittany Newberry, who is a great example of pulling yourself up by your bootstraps (you can read about her in the “Boots” book), made me a beautiful sweater.
She has her own business called The Knit Witch. Please visit the site. At any rate, she dyes yarn, knits, and her husband, Wayne Newberry makes beautiful pottery. One of the items he makes is yarn bowls.
Write and let me know what plans you have to knit a beautiful life for yourself in 2010! Tell me what you want to do and and if you get stuck along the way, write a comment and we’ll discuss. Happy New Year!

Nice sweater lady!!! If I have learned to “pull myself up by my bootstraps” it is only because YOU have taught me to!!!

That is one beautiful sweater. I am an admirer of your daughter’s handiwork and just joined her new yarn club. I can’t wait to knit up socks and shawls with her pretty yarn.
Knitting plans for 2010? More shawls, definitely. Last year was all about the socks but I found that I love knitting shawls. And maybe a couple of cardigans too.
I’m going to add your blog to my reading list, if you don’t mind.

Thank you for the kind remarks about the sweater and Brittany. I’m pretty proud of her too.
Yes! I’d love to have you as a reader and I’m looking forward to more comments. Have a great year!
